Female Entrepreneur Magazine and Venture Marketing have teamed up to launch an international marketing makeover contest that will award a female entrepreneur a no-cost Marketing Makeover in an effort to showcase the power of branding to entrepreneurial organizations. According to an announcement from the companies, the winner will receive a fresh, brand image and marketing support that may include the redesign of the winning organization's logo, brochure, direct mail, advertising and/or sell sheets.
The winner also will be featured in a case study feature article, to be published in a 2004 issue of the magazine. The competition is open to female business owners in the United States and Canada. Competition entries must be submitted before Nov. 15.
"A strong corporate brand is essential to financial success for growing companies," said John Fox, president of Venture Marketing. "From helping a sales team get in the door of potential customers, to attracting and retaining quality talent, and even allowing the company to command a premium price for your products or services branding remains the strength behind business success."
