Drury University’s Students in Free Enterprise organization is leading the program, called Women Inspiring Student Entrepreneurs. The program will be launched at a banquet at 6:30 tonight in Freeman Hall on the Drury campus. Jill Wiggins, director of Drury’s Career Center, will be the keynote speaker.
Enrollment in the program – 50 students – is double what it was last year and includes students from Drury, Ozarks Technical Community College and Missouri State University. Participants will shadow businesswomen for a day to get a glimpse of life after college and gain a better understanding of different careers.
“It is great that we, as a SIFE team, can help them make connections that will play a crucial role in their future careers,” said project leader Carrie Winston in a news release.[[In-content Ad]]
