FEMA issues $2.9M to STL for tornado recovery

The Federal Emergency Management Agency awarded the city of St. Louis $2.9 million.

The funds are for disaster case management for those impacted by the May 2025 tornado.

“Every family deserves the support they need to recover,” Mayor Cara Spencer at a news conference. “These dollars will help us do that, and as I continue to say, we're going to continue to fight for more and more support and more dollars to help St. Louis residents.”
