FEMA approves Missouri’s request for more disaster assistance

The Federal Emergency Management Agency approved Missouri's request to add 14 more counties and the city of St. Louis to a previous disaster declaration.

With the approval, 82 Missouri counties and the city of St. Louis are receiving federal and state funding to address damage caused by flooding and storms earlier this year.

“FEMA’s approval of our request means millions of dollars in vitally important federal and state reimbursements will now go to communities in 14 more Missouri counties and the city of St. Louis," Gov. Mike Parson said.
