Federal prosecutors have filed charges alleging a former St. Louis nonprofit leader stole millions of dollars from the program.
Connie Bobo, of St. Charles, is charged with wire fraud and identity theft related to her use of federal money when she was director of New Heights Community Resource Center.
Bobo is accused of allegedly using money meant to feed needy children on personal expenses such as residences and an SUV.
