FedEx wins tax credits for Springfield expansion

The Missouri Department of Economic Development has approved $431,622 in tax credits for FedEx Freight East Inc. to expand its Springfield facility.

The credits are through the DED’s Enhanced Enterprise Zone program.

FedEx Freight East will receive the credits over five years based on its projections of 46 new jobs and $11.36 million in new investment, according to a news release. The company plans to expand its 63,000-square-foot office and warehouse complex on nine acres at 2960 N. Martin Ave., near Partnership Industrial Center. [[In-content Ad]]
