FedEx signaled plans to close a Missouri shipping center in Earth City, near St. Louis.
The Memphis-based corporation simultaneously is opening a 491,000-square-foot center in St. Peters. The 125 employees in Earth City have the opportunity to transition into available positions in St. Peters.
The Earth City center is scheduled to close by May 2.
