FedEx shares fall after company lowers full-year outlook

FedEx shares fell as much as 4 percent in after-hours trading yesterday after the company lowered its fiscal 2018 forecast.

The company expects earnings between $11.05 and $11.85 per share for the year, below a previous projection of $12 to $12.80 per share.

FedEx cited Hurricane Harvey's negative impacts on the shipping industry and the TNT Express cyberattack. The attack "significantly affected" the worldwide operations of the segment, official said.
