FedEx posts higher second-quarter profits

FedEx. Corp. earned $500 million, or $1.57 a share, in its second quarter ended Nov. 30, a boost from $438 million, or $1.39, in the same quarter a year ago.

The Economic Times reports the company revamped routes and trimmed capacity to Asia and other markets. The company has lot clients to slower, cheaper delivery options.
