FedEx Corp. founder Fred Smith plans to step down as CEO on June 1.
Smith, 77, started FedEx in 1973. He'll become executive chair after he exits the CEO role.
He's slated to be succeeded as CEO by Raj Subramaniam, the company's president and chief operating officer.
