FedEx cuts ties with Amazon

FedEx announced it's parting ways with e-commerce giant Amazon.

The shipping company no longer will make ground deliveries for Amazon after its contract expires this month. Two months ago, FedEx announced the termination of air delivery for Amazon.

The news comes as Amazon continues to build its own air and ground fleet designed to decrease its reliance on FedEx, UPS and the U.S. Postal Service.
