FedEx cancels plans for $259M center in Indiana

FedEx dropped its plans to build a $259 million distribution center in Greenwood, Indiana.

Company officials said "automation and technological enhancements" at its other hubs have made them more efficient, so the Greenwood facility is no longer necessary.

The distribution center that had been planned in the Indianapolis suburb would have employed 455 people.
