U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Thursday the Trump administration is ending an Obama-era policy not to interfere with states that have legalized marijuana.
He stopped short of saying whether that means federal prosecutors would target pot shops and legal growers.
Sessions and some law enforcement officials have blamed legal marijuana for a rise in trafficking black market cannabis.
