The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Thursday released its latest employment report, indicating 147,000 jobs were added in June.
The latest figure is above analysts' expectations for the month at 117,500 jobs, and an increase from May’s total of 144,000.
The U.S. unemployment rate dropped to 4.1% from 4.2% month over month.
