The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration awarded $38 million to the Missouri University of Science and Technology's Regional Innovation and Technology Hub, aka Tech Hub.
The money is part of the federal government's initiative to rebuild America’s domestic critical minerals supply chain.
Counties in the Tech Hub’s region are Carter, Crawford, Dent, Howell, Iron, Madison, Oregon, Phelps, Reynolds, Shannon, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Texas and Washington.
