A federal food safety lab has opened in north St. Louis County.
U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Gov. Mike Kehoe were among those in attendance at a ceremony on Tuesday in Normandy.
The 84,000-square-foot facility will allow for more testing of species of listeria.
