A federal court in Texas has blocked the state's newly redrawn congressional map.
A three-judge panel in El Paso voted 2-1 to block the map. Texas has been ordered to use the map its legislators passed in 2021.
The court sided with civil rights groups that sued to block the Republican-friendly congressional map.
