The Federal Reserve on Wednesday chose to keep the key interest rate unchanged.
It previously has been raised three times since late July to a range of 1.5% to 1.75%.
"Both the economy and monetary policy right now are in a good place," Fed Chair Jerome Powell said at a news conference.
