The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a warning letter to Kansas City-based CBD American Shaman.
In the letter, FDA officials say delivering CBD-infused food and beverage into interstate commerce violates the Food, Beverage and Cosmetic Act.
Further, they take issue with some American Shaman products that might appeal to children. Those products include CBD-infused suckers, hard candies, cookies and gummies.
