The Food and Drug Administration has given the OK to the first nasal spray treatment for serious allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis.
Neffy, a product from ARS Pharmaceuticals, is now the only needle-free alternative to EpiPens and other epinephrine injectors, according to Quartz.
A single-dose nasal spray, Neffy is administered into one nostril.
