The Food and Drug Administration indicated a single-dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson is safe and effective.
FDA officials said the vaccine is 66% effective at preventing moderate to severe COVID-19.
The evaluation process continues for what would be the third vaccine option for the United States. A final decision is expected in the near future.
