FBI deputy director steps down

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe announced his resignation Monday.

He'll remain on the FBI payroll until mid-March, when he's eligible for retirement with full benefits.

McCabe has reportedly been under pressure to quit by President Donald Trump. The president reportedly questioned McCabe's 2016 voting decision, as well as donations his wife received for her failed Democratic Virginia state Senate bid in 2015.

How about possible obstruction of justice as a reason for 'stepping down'? We will see when the memo about FBI and Justice Department actions comes out.
