A Branson insurance company in business since 2018 has been acquired.
Fayetteville, Arkansas-based G&G Independent Insurance announced the purchase of Robbins Insurance Group LLC for undisclosed terms in a news release.
“Five years ago, I felt like the Branson community was underserved in the (property and casualty) insurance space, specifically personal lines like home, auto, toys, nightly rentals, etc. I decided to found RIG to fill that void," Robbins Insurance Group founder Blake Robbins said in the release. "We see this merger as a way to further achieve our goal. G&G is top in class in customer service, professionalism and employee satisfaction."
An umbrella company called The Robbins Group, which includes Robbins Insurance Group, relocated to 1649 State Highway 248 in 2021, according to past reporting. Robbins will maintain ownership of Robbins Financial Group, and Robbins Nest Media LLC shuttered last year.
Robbins Insurance Group employees are joining G&G Independent Insurance through the deal that closed May 1, according to the release. Robbins is slated to serve as a consultant to G&G during the transition period.
G&G's website indicates the company serves a seven-state territory that includes Missouri and Arkansas.
"We are thrilled to welcome Robbins Insurance Group to the G&G team," said Jordan Greer, founder and CEO of G&G, in the release. "Their commitment to providing exceptional service aligns perfectly with our own values, and we are confident that this consolidation of efforts will enable us to better serve our clients in Branson and beyond."
