Fauci self-quarantines

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the U.S. government’s top infectious diseases official, has self-quarantined after staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

Dr. Stephen Hahn, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, and Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, also have gone into two weeks of isolation.

A Navy officer who served as valet for President Donald Trump and Katie Miller, press spokesperson for Vice President Mike Pence, reportedly are among federal officials who have contracted the virus.

A separate Pence spokesperson yesterday said the vice president is not self-quarantining.
