The arcade trailblazer known as the “Father of Pac-Man” has died at 91.
In 1955, Masaya Nakamura founded Namco, a Japanese company known for creating the “Pac-Man” video game.
“Pac-Man” released in 1980 after being designed by video game engineer Toru Iwatani. The company estimates the game has been played over 10 billion times.
