Ross Williams Architects is architect for Union Hills Baptist Church in Holts Summit. The 21,016-square-foot structure, with an estimated cost of $1.7 million, is slated for completion in summer 2004. Central Missouri Engineering is engineer and Schrimpf Construction of Holts Summit is general contractor.
The worship center is placed across the diagonal of the square and is constructed of laminated wood with wood accents and trim. The worship center has room for 550 people, but expandable seating space below the balcony and in the balcony provides total capacity of more than 1,300 seats. The education addition houses new church offices and preschool spaces.
