Architect David Cowan of Gaskin Hill Norcross was architect for the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Business and Economic Development at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. Gaskin Hill Norcross also provided engineering and interior design services for the project. The general contractor was Baldwin & Shell Construction. The center, which was completed in late 2002, is a four-story building that is centered around an atrium that allows almost every office a window and encourages interaction among the College of Business Administration, the Institute for Economic Advancement and the Small Business Development Center. In addition to more than 150 offices, the building also houses a 300-seat auditorium, a distance-learning room, 11 classrooms, a library and several seminar rooms. All classrooms have computer ports at each seat, and there also are student and faculty lounges.
