Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. is engineer for Columbia College's Student Commons in Columbia. The architect is Simon Oswald and Associates, a Columbia firm. The 22,000-square-foot structure has an estimated completion date of August 2004. The building will house a caf, a Barnes & Noble bookstore, student services, nursing, career services, campus life and student government spaces, as well as areas for recreation, group study and lounges.
