Bates & Associates is architect for phase III of The Medical Plaza for Physicians Advanced Health Care in Poplar Bluff. The general contractor is yet to be determined. Malone, Finkle, Eckhardt & Collins Inc. is engineer for the 100,000-square-foot medical building, which has an estimated cost of $10 million. The estimated completion date for the structure is not yet known.
The plaza is designed to better serve growing health care needs in southeast Missouri. The new structure is a four-story medical office building with a common lobby, according to Alan Bates. The building will be structural steel and concrete with a brick exterior and metal roof, he said, and it will have a state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical system to provide maximum flexibility for various medical procedures.
