Fanatics owner Michael Rubin may make a bid for the NFL's Carolina Panthers, sources familiar with the matter told CNBC.
The Panthers were put up for sale in December, after the team's longtime owner was accused of workplace misconduct.
"Nobody knows the NFL more than Michael," one source told CNBC.
Rubin declined to comment to CNBC.
