Fan inside Cardinals game struck by bullet

A fan was watching the St. Louis Cardinals play the Milwaukee Brewers Tuesday night when she was struck by a bullet.

Cardinals officials say the bullet "presumably originated from outside of the stadium."

According to police, the 34-year-old suddenly felt pain in her arm, and after removing her jacket, found a small abrasion above her elbow.

"A bullet slug was located in the immediate area around the victim’s seat," police officials said. "It appears the bullet came from outside the stadium; however the investigation is ongoing."
