Family of boy killed on Kansas waterslide settles with park

The family of a Kansas lawmaker's 10-year-old son killed last summer on a waterslide billed as the world's tallest have reached a settlement with the park's owner and the raft's manufacturer.

The terms of the deal involving Caleb Schwab's family were not disclosed. His father is Republican state Rep. Scott Schwab.

Caleb Schwab was killed in August last year on the Verruckt slide - German for "insane" - at Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts.
