Family Medical Walk-In Clinic opens in Ozark

Family Medical Walk-In Clinics has opened its fifth location - an urgent care facility in Ozark.

The clinic is at 1500 W. State Highway J, near U.S. Highway 65. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Appointments are not required.

Like Family Medical Walk-In Clinics in Springfield, Nixa and Republic, the Ozark clinic treats minor illnesses and injuries and aims to keep people from making unnecessary visits to the emergency room.

The clinic accepts most health insurance and provides general care for patients who don't have a primary physician or can't schedule an appointment with one, according to a news release. The clinic also offers a medical discount membership for $50 a month, allowing patients to pay $30 for doctor visits regardless of the cost of services.
