Famed astronaut John Glenn laid to rest at Arlington

Four months after his death, astronaut John Glenn was laid to rest yesterday at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

Glenn, who died Dec. 8 at age 95, was the first American to orbit the earth and later became a U.S. senator from Ohio.

The timing of his private burial coincided with John and Annie Glenn's 74th wedding anniversary.
