Faces in Construction: Photo Contest Winners

Editors Note: The Salute to Construction Council sponsors a photo contest every year in conjunction with its annual awards banquet. There are usually two categories – Faces, which focuses on people in construction, and Places, which focuses on projects. This year, there were no entries in the Places category.

First Place: (Right) Darren Wagner of Walton Construction wins top honors for this shot, taken at the job site for Branson Intermediate School. Crews from Donco Construction were pouring the first slab for the project.

Second Place: (Above) Hydration is essential for crews working in the heat, as shown in this second-place shot by Nicki Gillespie of Gillespie Excavating Co. LLC. The crew was working on the Maranatha Village lake liner in Springfield.

Third Place: (Right) Brenda Adams of Wilkerson's Commercial Flooring is the photographer of this shot taken at His Children's Camp in Ridgely. She earned third place for her efforts.
