This photograph, by Jack Miller of Jack Miller Construction Company, captures construction work at Extended Stay America in Springfield. The general contractor on the project was Paric Corporation. The photo brought an honorable mention to Miller in Places in Construction.

PHOTO CAPTION:

The Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon is nearly finished in this photograph, taken by Kelsey Kindall of DeWitt and Associates Inc. DeWitt was the general contractor for the project. Kindall won second place in the Places category of the photo contest.

Honorable mention in the Places in Construction category went to Rob Richardson, of Thompson Culvert Company, for this photograph of men working on an underground stormwater retention job for a St. John's project on East Kearney. SBI was the general contractor. Thompson manufactured the pipes for the project.

Thompson's Rob Richardson was awarded third place in the Places in Construction category for this photo.
