Facebook Inc. has suspended "tens of thousands" of apps over privacy concerns for more than a year, the company announced in a blog post Friday.
The apps got the ban for “inappropriately sharing data obtained from us, making data publicly available without protecting people’s identity or something else that was in clear violation of our policies," the blog post reads.
Court filings on Friday disclosed Facebook has suspended 69,000 apps.
