Facebook’s chief information security officer denied a report by The New York Times that he's leaving the company.
Alex Stamos tweeted that contrary to "rumors" he's "still fully engaged" at Facebook.
The Times reported Stamos would step down after clashing with other Facebook executives on the company's handling of Russian trolls on the platform.
Facebook also is facing international criticism over reports that 50 million users had their data compromised when research firm Cambridge Analytica obtained their information without their consent.
