Facebook rolled out its new publishing partnership on Wednesday, allowing sites like the New York Times and Buzzfeed to post content directly to the social media site.
Dubbed "instant articles," Facebooks says the partnerships allow a more user-friendly experience by keeping users on the site, rather than relying on outbound links that can be slow to load on mobile devices, according to Fox Business.
The news sites will get a majority of the revenue from ads facilitated by Facebook to make up for the fact they'll be losing traffic directly to their domain.
