Facebook announced it's pausing development on Instagram for kids.
The pause comes after a recent report in The Wall Street Journal detailed harm caused to teenagers by the app. One of the top concerns focuses on suicidal thoughts linked to Instagram usage.
"While we believe building 'Instagram Kids' is the right thing to do, Instagram, and its parent company Facebook, will reevaluate the project at a later date," company officials said in a statement.
