The Facebook Oversight Board of journalists, activists and lawyers on Wednesday upheld the social media network's ban of former President Donald Trump.
The board gave Facebook six months to make a final decision about his account.
Board officials said the social media network was right to remove Trump from the platform after the insurrection in January. The board serves as a quasi-court over the company’s content decisions.
