Facebook is scheduled to launch a gaming app today.
Called Facebook Gaming, the mobile app is designed for creating and watching live gameplay. It's a space currently occupied by Amazon’s Twitch, Google’s YouTube and Microsoft’s Mixer.
Facebook had planned to release the app in June, but the popularity of games during the coronavirus pandemic pushed up the launch.
