Facebook goes all in on live video

Facebook is prepared to roll out a bolstered live video feature.

The company's Facebook Life is getting new features in an effort to get more of the social media website's 1.6 billion users shooting and watching live streaming video.

New feature include the ability to broadcast live to a Facebook group or schedule a live Q&A session through Facebook events. The company also is putting the ability front and center on its mobile app.

Last year, the company launched Facebook Live for celebrities and public figures. It had a more wide release earlier this year.
