Facebook finds no evidence of Trending bias

Facebook has found "no evidence of systematic political bias" in how news stories are chosen for its Trending Topics features.

However, it is making changes anyway. Those include no longer using outside sites to determine if a trending story is relevant.

The internal investigation came after an inquiry from the Senate Commerce Committee.
