Facebook doubles down on paid family leave

Facebook was one of the first tech companies to launch a race for better parental leave in the United States.

Now, it wants to do the same for bereavement leave.

Employees at Facebook now can receive up to 20 days paid leave to grieve the loss of an immediate family member and up to 10 days after the death of an extended family member.

The policy doubles the company's previous bereavement leave count.
