Facebook COO donates $100M in company stock

Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg pledged more than $100 million in company stock to charity.

The social media executive transferred 880,000 shares to the donor-advised Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Fund.

CNN reports potential causes the fund might benefit include women-focused group Lean In, grief and loss support organization OptionB.org, Second Harvest Food Bank and grief support group Kara.
