Facebook is temporarily banning advertisements featuring weapons accessories, including gun safes and holsters.
Facebook executives said the decision was made "out of an abundance of caution" during inauguration week.
"We already prohibit ads for weapons, ammunition and weapon enhancements like silencers," the officials said. "But we will now also prohibit ads for accessories such as gun safes, vests and gun holsters in the U.S."
