Facebook agreed to a $52 million settlement with current and former moderators.
The preliminary settlement filed on Friday follows allegations that the moderators developed mental health issues on the job.
Filed in September 2018 by a former Facebook moderator, the suit alleged the role regularly exposes those employees to images of rape, murder and suicide.
