FAA tells airlines to heed Boeing warning after jet crash

The Federal Aviation Administration intends to mandate that airlines following an advisory issued by Boeing Co.

Boeing's advisory covers how pilots should handle false readings from a plane sensor that reportedly occurred on a 737 Max jet that crashed off the Indonesian coast last week.

The FAA said it "will take further appropriate actions depending on the results of the investigation."
