Boeing's 737 Max 7 airplane has been given approval by the Federal Aviation Administration.
The certification process has been more stringent after two fatal Max 8 crashes in 2018 and 2019. Scrutiny also has picked up after a January 2024 mid-air cabin panel blowout, according to Reuters.
Boeing's shares were up 6.7% on the day following the release of the news.
